OPC UA Capabilities The functionality of an OPC UA Application is defined by the supported capabilities. Each application has to support a core set of features (required capabilities). Advanced capabilities are defined extensions of the core set of features. Support of such advanced OPC UA features assures broader applicability and a with that a higher degree of interoperability than what can be achieved with the core set of features. It is recommended that the support of OPC UA Capabilities is advertised by listing the corresponding capability names inside product documentation and product data sheets.
